The Resilient Life – Learn From The Past, Don’t Live It

Back in the ‘olden days’, one of the ways criminals were kept from escaping was to attach a big, heavy metal ball to their ankle by chain. This heavy ball made it difficult for them to go anywhere. When they did move, they were slow, having to lug this extra weight around. Swimming was not a good idea! In much the same way, we can let the things of our past drag us down, or hold us back, making it difficult to move forward. Maybe something happened to you, or you did something to someone else? Whatever it is, there is a time for forgiveness and to move on. It’s amazing how good a ‘chain cutter’ forgiveness is.
