Chaplaincy

Warren Crank wrote a book called Unofficial Chaplain. I know that many of you have a copy and have been challenged by it. I believe that, wherever we get to ‘do life’, we are called called to be ‘Unofficial Chaplains’.

As a part of Sports Chaplaincy Australia, I get to be a Life Saving Chaplain at Kawana Waters Surf Club. It is an incredible opportunity to ‘do life’ with another ‘congregation’. I love my times at the Club.

In most of our emergency service groups we have official Chaplains. They are important and very much needed. Matt Govan is the Sunshine Coast and Wide Bay Regional Chaplain for the Qld Police Force. I am sure he will have some very interesting stories, and will let us know about some of the incredible people he gets to ‘do life’ with.

Let us continue to take Gods message to our Community.

God bless you on the journey,
Dony
