This beautiful garden showcases plants native to the Sunshine Coast region. There are a number of walks, including rainforest walks and through the Whipbird Village lagoon walk.
To get there
- Take the Sippy Downs, Buderim exit off the Bruce Highway
- Take the Tanawha Tourist Drive turnoff (25) and follow the signs

BYO morning tea, lunch, and a chair.
Russell Park is on the western side of the main road through Montville Village. Turn at the Visitor Information Centre, which is the first building from the southern end, and the last building from the northern end.
Come from 10am, for morning tea. After lunch, feel free to browse the shops! BYO chair, morning tea, BBQ or picnic lunch.
At our final KKs for the year, we’ll enjoy an early Christmas lunch together, in a private, air-conditioned room, and we can stay on for carolling. Bring a $5 gift for a fun gift exchange.
The cost includes a 2 course meal of honey glazed ham, turkey with cranberry sauce, roast chicken and veggies, followed by traditional Christmas pudding or pavlova (tea and coffee are extra).
Bring a plate of food (main or dessert – or both!) to share. Each person can bring a wrapped gift to the value of $5 for our gift exchange, and make sure you’re prepared for lots of fun!
All ladies are welcome to come to the Regional Introduction to the study of Genesis – part 2. We studied Genesis in Term 1 of 2018, and will continue looking into this great book to kick off 2019. Our studies in Genesis continue for 9 weeks, beginning Wednesday 6th February, so come along to this special event then join us each week for the rest of our study.
