Easter – The Last Supper

Bread and wine, 2 everyday items to symbolise a sacrifice that only one person could make. Breaking bread, such a brilliant picture to remind us that Jesus’ body was literally torn. Wine, red grapes crushed to extract the juice out of them. In the same way, Jesus was crushed, his blood pouring out. It’s a humbling experience to remember what Jesus did for each one of us in this amazing way. What we now call ‘The Last Supper’ is the origin of this special act.
