God’s Mission, Our Mission – E Is For Eating

Eating is a big part of life, and is often so much more than just survival. Sharing a meal is at the heart of much of social life even for those who struggle to put food on the table. From something as simple as having a coffee with a friend, to a full banquet with hundreds of people, relationship is at the heart of it. It shouldn’t be any surprise then, to find food at the heart of church, as it was in the early church days. Even Jesus talked about people getting together around food. How does this fit in with a modern day church?
