Eternity

Today is Palm Sunday, the day the Church celebrates Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem. It is less than one week until we remember Jesus’ death on the cross (Good Friday). It is one week until we celebrate Jesus’ Resurrection from the dead.

What if Jesus had never died? We would be still in our sin, trying to figure out a way to be good, holy, and forgiven. But Jesus did die on the cross. He was laid in a tomb.

And what if Jesus didn’t rise from the dead? We would be still in our sin, trying to figure out a way to be good, holy and forgiven….

Jesus did rise from the dead – and eternity is now available for all!

Actually, eternity always was available for us all, but where we will spend eternity is another question.

Jesus’ death and resurrection give us all the opportunity to know God’s grace and forgiveness; we can know freedom from sin, and victory over sin, and be released from the wages of sin.

Today, as we remember Jesus entering into His last week on this earth as a man, take the opportunity to let Jesus enter your heart, and open the door for all He has for you.

God bless,
Dony
