Particularly during this uncertain time (and while we are not holding our usual Sunday Celebration at the Greenhouse), home groups are of enormous value to each one of us; together we are the body of Christ.
Home groups will also continue to be one of the best ways we can care for one another, particularly if any of us are sick, or in isolation.
Home groups are an integral part of KawanaLife, and have always been a place to
- Grow in God
- Pray for each other
- Build deeper relationships
- Develop our God-given gifts
- DO LIFE TOGETHER
Under normal circumstances, home groups meet in various locations and at various times of the day or night. They cater for all adult age groups.
As we can’t get together even in our own homes at present, home groups are finding creative ways of keeping in touch. Changes to how our home groups “meet” will be made on a group-by-group basis.
If you are not currently part of a home group, we encourage you to make this a part of your week, so that we can all keep caring for one another.
If you would like to know more or be connected to a group that best suits you, please contact the office, or speak to Marilyn.
Hebrews 10:23-25 (NIV)
23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
