The way of justice

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.
Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
Matthew 5:6‭-‬8 (NIV)

Is our God just and righteous? What are some examples?

How are we at justice and righteousness?

I think our instinct is passivity, passive indifference; “She’ll be right, mate.” Maybe, ‘I am too busy’ (looking after number 1), or just too busy, period. Or it seems just too big a problem!

You’re blessed when you’ve worked up a good appetite for God. He’s food and drink in the best meal you’ll ever eat.
Matthew 5:6 MSG

When the things of God become our most important, life-giving passion, then we will be satisfied.

I’m looking forward to exploring this more on Sunday and I hope it gets your interest.
