Never the same

This Easter, let us celebrate that anything is possible with God!

Once we see Jesus for who He is – the Son of God who died for our sin and rose from the grave – we are never the same.

The men and women who saw Jesus after the resurrection couldn’t go back to the way things were. They wrote the gospels we’re reading 2,000 years later. They started the global church, spending their lives spreading the message that Jesus is alive. Their belief that Jesus died for their sins and rose from the grave changed them forever.

We are His disciples, too. Are we being changed? This Easter, let’s stop and reflect on the transformation of our own lives.

Have you grown comfortable in your relationship with Jesus? Or, are you longing for the fresh wind and fresh fire of the Holy Spirit to fill and empower you to be all that you were created to be … for the glory of our God?

Belong, Believe, Become … how is your ‘becoming’?

… all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord – who is the Spirit – makes us more and more like Him as we are changed into His glorious image. (2 Corinthians 3:18)

God bless us, this Easter, with a deeper desire and commitment to being transformed into the likeness of His Son, our risen Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
