The ingenious, creative plan

Tomorrow is Good Friday, however our story does not start here. It starts back in Genesis chapter 1 verse 1. God creates, He works on His masterpiece. Following on from there, the Bible shows us the scenes, and the characters change, but the story is always about God trying to woo us back, trying to get our attention.

God, motivated by love, brings the story to its climax by becoming a baby, growing as a child, becoming a man, teaching, training, then giving himself… God on the cross.

God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.
Hebrews 1:1‭-‬3 NKJV

God on the Cross… the Creator being sacrificed for the creation. On this Cross He says, “It is finished.”

But wait, there is more… it is Friday, but Sunday is coming. Sunday, the day of resurrection, the day of new life, a day of beginnings.

Join us this Easter as we explore the ingenious, creative plan of the God who loves us.
