Bring your blow up inflatable and have some fun in the pool in the…night light!
This will be a fantastic night full of pool games and fun so don’t forget your togs and towel! Be sure to come prepared with appropriate togs to take part in the awesome games (a swim shirt is encouraged).

If you have ever gone camping in the bush you would know have valuable it is to have your torch packed.

Shepherds look after sheep. The shepherd knows his sheep and the sheep know him and he keeps them safe.
There’s a lot we can learn from a shepherd, so much so that Jesus even calls himself ‘the Good Shepherd’.

Meeting at Mary Cairncross Park for morning tea at the Restaurant – coffees from $4.50, and slices and cakes from $4.00. After morning tea, we’ll explore the interpretive centre, take a bush walk, and enjoy at lunch together in the main park area. BYO comfortable shoes and a hat, lunch, and a chair to sit on.
Everybody loves the idea of being immortal – being able to live forever puts you into the superhero realm.
Did you know that this desire has been built into the way we think by the One who created us for a reason?
You see…Jesus raised a guy named Lazarus from the dead and brought him back to life but that’s only a glimpse of what he has planned for those who trust in Him!

The words of Jesus are so powerful and so meaningful – and he has given us everything we need to be able to find out what He means by “The Way and the Truth and the Life”!

We’re back! We hope you guys have had a fantastic holiday and ready for what is going to be an awesome term!
We’re kicking off this term by going “old school”, back to basics with some good ol’ fashioned games.
Come along and hear from some of our ‘more mature’ friends about their life experiences with following God. See you there!

We’re joining with some other youth groups for the joint Sunshine Coast youth event!
This is going to be an fantastic night of great teaching from guest speaker, Pastor Dave Morrow, as well as awesome worship lead by Kingdom Culture Worship. This is an event not to be missed!
The event starts at 6:30pm at Lifepointe Church in Buderim (186 Wises Rd).
If you’d prefer, you can get dropped off and picked up directly at Lifepointe Church but if that’s not possible we are meeting to car pool it there, at the Greenhouse and leaving at 6pm and will be returning at 9:30pm.
Please could you let Andrew or any of the other youth leaders know if you are wanting a lift to and from Lifepointe.
Foote Sanctuary has many easy walking tracks throughout beautiful forest. BYO morning tea, lunch and a chair.

Beach, BBQ, Burgers…sound good to you?
Come and meet us at Currimundi Lake (we will aim to get some tables between the toilet block and the playground) at 5pm for some beach games followed by a BBQ dinner. We’ll be car pooling it back to the Greenhouse after dinner to continue with our Youth Alpha series and will finish youth a bit earlier at 8:30pm.
This would be a great night to bring a friend along to!

Today we’ll be visiting QCamel at Bells Creek, doing an educational tour of the camel farm (including cuddles with the camels!), and enjoy morning tea and muffins made using camel milk. The cost, which includes morning tea, is $35.
A minimum of 20 people are needed for this event – please let Del know if you are planning to attend. Visit the QCamel website for more information.

This Friday Surge will be continuing with the Youth Alpha series as well as determining which gender, boys or girls, will come out as the ultimate champions in some fantastic games!

This Friday is the last Surge night for the term…so we’re ending it with a ‘Chill night’. This is not your average chill night though 
Come along this Friday, bring a friend and bring any musical instrument you can play.
Join us as we walk the board walk through the wetlands to the Maroochy River. See hundreds of tiny crabs and a variety of bird life, and visit the educational centre.
