The importance of prayer

Pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
(Ephesians 6:18)

You do not have because you do not ask God.
(James 4:2b)

“We [the disciples] … will give our attention to prayer and the ministry of the word.
(Acts 6:3-4)

“Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place and prayed…”
(Mark 1:35)

One of those days Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray, and spent the night praying to God.
(Luke 6:12)

We can see clearly that prayer is important. Jesus considered prayer important, in fact pray and prayer are used with Jesus  twenty-five times in the Gospels, and if prayer is important to Jesus, surely it has to be important to us.

So, a quick challenge: how can you and I step up our ‘Prayer Life’, taking into consideration that each of us are different and can and do pray in different ways?

Come on a prayer adventure….

God bless,
Dony
