How’s your faith level?
Is it easy for you to wholly trust God for the future, or is it a bit of struggle sometimes?
Last week we started a series called “The Jesse Tree” – a journey tracing God’s Salvation Plan throughout the Old Testament that leads us to Jesus. Each week we’ll be seeing how God worked through different people in different ways to bring about his salvation plan for the world. This week we come to the story of Abraham, a story which involved much faith and trust on the part of Abraham, and a whole bag of blessing on the part of God.
Hebrews 11:8 says:
By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going.
May we all be able to walk by faith, and not by sight, as Abraham did, and may we experience the blessing of God in greater measure as we trust God for the future.
