In our modern day ‘Babylon’, there is a legend of the one who behaves in such a manner of rightness that they are sought after for advice and direction. A master in Martial Arts would be an example of this.
Elders in the church are called to be such people. Peter has some important instructions for those who are leaders in the church. But it is not about having a title, ‘elder’; it is about becoming the kind of person who is seen as an elder.
