Dare to dream – Thomas

Thomas! We all know of Thomas. What adjective comes to mind when we think of Thomas? I am wondering how many said ‘doubting’? I personally think it is a bit of an unfair tag for Thomas. At a pretty emotional and scary time, the guy says one thing, it ends up being recorded by John (in chapter 20) and he is forever labelled with it.

We know that Thomas left everything to follow this young, itinerant rabbi named Jesus. Something about Jesus made Thomas abandon his livelihood and even risk his life to follow Him.

On Sunday, I am going to share a bit more about Thomas, and hopefully we will all learn that, when you get it wrong, Jesus gives you another chance to get it right.

Let’s dare to dream.
