Every superhero has a villain

Every super hero has at least one villain; some seem to have a never ending line of bad guys lining up to get at them. In the world today we see a lot of stuff happening, some of it isn’t good, some is bad, and some is very bad.

The Bible tells us we’re in a battle. In Ephesians chapter 6, we read about putting on the full armour of God, and taking a stand against the devil’s schemes.

We have:

• a belt of truth
• a breastplate of righteousness
• our feet are to be fitted and ready to share the good news of Jesus Christ
• a shield of faith
• a helmet of salvation
• a sword of the Spirit

We can also put on a “garment of praise”!

Today we will look at the battle that is around us. Thanks for being with us on this journey.
