Dare to dream – Mark

We are starting a new series this week, Dare to Dream. We continue to explore the idea that while God is perfect, things don’t always appear to go from strength to strength because, well, we are human and live in a fallen world. But God is in ultimate control, and he has the future in His hands.

This week we are looking at the life of John Mark, who was a young man when Jesus was crucified. He later joined Paul and Barnabas on their mission trip. But things did not go from strength to strength for John Mark. Through it all, however, God used John Mark to compose the earliest of the four Gospels.

At the end of his Gospel, John Mark leaves us with the challenge: How are you going to respond to the risen Jesus? which is a question relevant to us all.
