To God be the Glory

This Sunday, we again have the opportunity to hear God’s story in and through our lives. Yes, it’s Testimony Sunday. We have three incredible people sharing their story.

As a link in, here is a bit of my story to give God the glory: this year celebrates 20 years for me, as Pastor at KawanaLife. Reflecting on those 20 years, I can see so much good, so much growth, things to truly give God praise. There have been the challenges and the support of amazing volunteers who have done so very much.

In these same 20 years, we have so many amazing stories to tell. Stories in the Kids Minsitry, in the Youth and in the Young adults. Some will remember the Young Families’ Movie Nights – with pizza, of course. Some will remember the Johnson Family Picnics at the Kawana Surf Club, and putting on the BBQ for one and all. Some may remember the start of Coffee Chaplaincy in SCUH, and some the four schools where we have taught RI.

This Pastors Pen could go on and on, remembering the many good things our incredible God has done, is doing and is yet to do.

To one and all, I say thank you for making these stories my stories. To God be the Glory, great things He has done.
