KKs @ Wappa Falls Observatory
Our May visit was unable to go ahead due to the weather, so instead we’ll visit the Observatory this month. Travel to Wappa Falls Astronomical Observatory to view the indoor show and meteorite collection, and to do a ‘space walk.’ There are 10 telescopes equipped for safe viewing of the sun, and there will be an informative talk.
When: 10am, 13 July
Where: 191 Wappa Falls Road, Yandina
Cost: $15 per person
Bring: Morning tea and lunch to be enjoyed in the grounds of the observatory. BBQs are available.
